Ruskin Bond (born 19 May, 1934) is an Indian author of British descent. He was born in Kasauli (Himachal Pradesh).His father was Aubrey Alexander Bond who served in the RAF during WWII.He had 1 real sister and brother-Ellen and William.

He have written many stories on sports. He have written about cricket but this time he is writing something for Dehradun, a short story for Dehradun football.
