Guru Nanak Jayanti - Guru’s remembrance day.
Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of the Sikh faith, was born in Kartik (October/November), and his birthday is known as Guru Nanak Jayanti. A Sikh festival or special day is called Gurpurb, meaning “Guru’s remembrance day”.
